About the position

Agila Institutet VUX offers municipal adult education (komvux) in several locations, including Västerås and Avesta. We have chosen to specialize in vocational training in health and social care, where our students are trained for work as nursing assistants.

As a health teacher with us, you will focus entirely on teaching, learning, and each student's knowledge development. We want your time to be spent where it makes the biggest difference – in meetings with students. Therefore, we have experienced course administrators who are responsible for all administrative tasks and work closely with teachers in daily operations.

Qualifications

To be considered for the position, you must:

• have a teaching degree with a focus on health and social care
• have broad subject competence in the health and social care area
• have very good pedagogical skills and a professional approach
• be flexible, collaborative, and solution-oriented
• have good IT and computer skills, as digital tools are used daily

We place great importance on your engagement, pedagogical skills, and mentoring abilities in working with adult students.

Our working method

Agila Institutet VUX works based on a well-thought-out and proven adult pedagogical model with a clear thread from the start of the course to grading. The model creates structure, predictability, and good conditions for both students' learning and teachers' collaboration.

The education is characterized by individualization and clear study plans, where each student's conditions and needs are taken into account through regular checkpoints.

Employment conditions

• Start date: February/March
• Full-time or part-time
• Employment form: 6-month probationary period
• As a modern and attractive employer, we of course have a collective agreement
